Meeting Agent Two & The Waiter Disguise – The Old Blood Chapter 5: Wulfburg Walkthrough

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood Gameplay Chapter 5: Wulfburg Walkthrough 4K 60FPS

On March 17, 1946, B.J. Blazkowicz sets out on a key mission that moves the story of Wolfenstein: The Old Blood from the cold halls of Castle Wolfenstein to the foggy streets of Wulfburg. This is where the game’s second act, “The Dark Secrets of Helga von Schabbs,” begins, shifting the focus from military action to a more eerie, supernatural feel. B.J. arrives at the empty docks by rowboat with Kessler and Annette. Their goal is clear: get a secret folder from Helga von Schabbs. This folder is vital because it reveals where General Deathshead’s compound is located, making this mission B.J.’s most important task since his first capture.

Wulfburg feels different right away, swapping high-tech Nazi bases for old cobblestone streets and historic buildings. When B.J. steps off the boat, players see a town stuck in the past but still full of Nazi patrols. Early in the chapter, it’s clear that the German army is still a threat, but there’s also a growing sense of fear about Helga’s nearby excavation. This part of the game connects the war story to a supernatural horror, setting up a showdown that will have serious consequences for everyone in Wulfburg.

Stealth and Navigation Through the Wulfburg Docks

After landing at the Wulfburg docks, B.J. splits up from Kessler and Annette to avoid being spotted. In this part, players need to sneak through areas watched by Nazi guards, using stealth to move quietly through the foggy harbor. The docks are full of shipping crates, tight paths, and alert sentries. To get to the center of town, B.J. has to move carefully, quietly taking out guards and staying out of the spotlights. The main goal here is to reach the town square, which connects to the rest of Wulfburg.

After getting past the docks, things get tighter as B.J. moves through narrow alleys and hallways. The town square is a tough spot where players can either fight directly or sneak around through nearby buildings. Getting to the resistance safehouse takes careful movement, since there are lots of Nazis and the town’s layout rewards players who use height and shadows. This part of the mission shows how resourceful B.J. is, making him depend on his smarts to get past the German guards and find the contact needed for the next step.

Meeting Agent Two: Pippa Shepherd at the Safehouse

After making it through the dangerous streets, B.J. arrives at a safehouse that looks like it used to be a hospital or home. Here, he meets Agent Two, who turns out to be Pippa Shepherd. Pippa works for the O.S.A. and is an old friend of Kessler, giving the story a personal touch during a tense mission. She gives B.J. important information about where Helga von Schabbs is, saying the Nazi archaeologist is at the local tavern with her top people. Pippa’s role adds a spy element to the mission, since she’s been keeping track of Helga and the excavation nearby.

To help B.J. get close to Helga and steal the folder, Pippa comes up with a bold undercover plan. She gives him a waiter’s outfit—a plain shirt and apron—so he can enter the tavern without drawing attention. But there’s a catch: B.J. has to leave all his weapons with Pippa to keep his cover safe. This makes him feel exposed, as players go from being heavily armed to completely unarmed. This moment at the safehouse highlights the sacrifices the resistance has to make to stop the Nazis’ occult plans.

The Undercover Mission and Tavern Infiltration

With only his disguise and quick thinking, B.J. heads from the safehouse to the tavern using a hidden tunnel and the kitchen. This part is full of tension, since players have to walk past German soldiers and staff who might see through the disguise at any time. After moving through the kitchen and service areas, B.J. reaches the upstairs room where Helga von Schabbs is eating. The setting shows the fancy world of the Nazi leaders compared to the rundown town. This undercover part makes players slow down and pay attention, building suspense as B.J. gets ready to grab the secret folder.

In the private room, B.J. finds Helga eating with her second-in-command, Emmerich Schreiner. The goal is to swap a wine bottle for the secret folder on her desk, which takes a steady hand. But things go wrong when Helga, who is very suspicious and sharp, figures out B.J. isn’t really a waiter. She makes him taste the wine to prove it’s not poisoned. When she realizes the truth, Helga stabs B.J.’s hand to the table, leaving him helpless as the story hits a dramatic peak.

Confronting Helga von Schabbs and the Vault Cataclysm

Just as Helga is about to kill B.J. for sneaking in, the ground shakes with a huge, unnatural earthquake that tears through Wulfburg. This isn’t a normal quake—it happens because Helga’s team breaks open King Otto I’s vault at the dig site. A strange, glowing green gas escapes from underground, spreading into the tavern and the streets. The gas quickly brings the dead back to life, turning people and soldiers into mindless, violent “shamblers” that start to overrun the town.

As the earthquake and gas spread, the tavern starts to collapse, with the roof and walls falling in. Helga and Emmerich realize what they’ve done and run to the dig site to protect their discovery. B.J., hurt and confused from the stabbing and falling debris, is left behind as the tavern falls apart. He gets knocked out by the rubble. When he wakes up, everything has changed—Wulfburg is destroyed, and the streets are full of the undead brought back by the gas.
