Yakuza Kiwami Finale: The End of Battle

Finale: The End of Battle – The Dragon and The Koi

The last chapter of Yakuza Kiwami, The End of Battle, starts with an important preparation at Stardust. Kazuma Kiryu meets Yuya and Kazuki to get supplies and a bulletproof vest. This is the “Point of No Return,” the final chance for players to get ready before the game’s intense ending.

The Millennium Tower Infiltration

At the penthouse bar, Ares, Kiryu finds Yumi Sawamura. Yumi reveals she has been living as “Mizuki” and stole the 10 billion yen from the Tojo Clan. She wanted to keep the money away from Kyohei Jingu, a corrupt politician and Haruka’s real father. Yumi planned to use the money to stop Jingu, who was getting rid of anyone who knew about his past with her and Haruka.

The Ares Confrontation

Things get worse when Kyohei Jingu shows up at the penthouse with his private army and Colonel Arase. Jingu says he wants to use the 10 billion yen to take over the Japanese government, seeing Yumi and Haruka as nothing but obstacles. Kiryu has to fight Jingu and his top soldiers, but he defeats the corrupt politician in the end.

Boss Battle: Kyohei Jingu

Right after Jingu is defeated, Kiryu’s sworn brother, Akira Nishikiyama, enters the vault. Nishikiyama admits he wants the money and the Tojo Clan leadership to get out from Kiryu’s shadow. He talks about his struggles over the past ten years, like losing his sister, being disrespected by his men, and loving Yumi without her returning his feelings. The brothers face off in a final duel, showing their Dragon and Koi tattoos, and Kiryu wins one last time.

Final Boss Battle: Akira Nishikiyama

The fight’s ending is cut short when a wounded Jingu wakes up and tries to shoot Haruka. Yumi steps in and takes the bullet for her. Nishikiyama then stabs Jingu and pulls him into the money vault. He sets off an explosion by shooting bombs Yumi had set up with the 10 billion yen. The blast kills both Jingu and Nishikiyama, and the money falls over Kamurocho, washing away the Tojo Clan’s corruption.

The Ending: A New Beginning

After everything, Yumi dies in Kiryu’s arms, telling Haruka to be strong. Soon, it’s revealed that Chairman Sera’s will named Kiryu as the Fourth Chairman of the Tojo Clan. Kiryu takes the title for a short time, then makes Terada the Fifth Chairman and steps down. He leaves the yakuza life to start a peaceful life with Haruka, finding the purpose Fuma once talked about.
